MADE IN DAGENHAM

A true story set in 1967 about a small group of female machinists who go on strike at a UK Ford factory in order to achieve the same, equal pay as men in what has been deemed as the sexual revolution (in terms of job rights).

However, this fight against discrimination is not as they though it was going to be as even their male partners in factories across all England move to the other side since they see how this movement might jeopardize the male-female status as they knew till then.

This movie brings a fresh point of view of how women fought for their own rights when everything was against them.
It features strong turns by both Sally Hawkins and Miranda Richardson with a solid contribution of one of the most effective actors in latest decades in supporting roles: Bob Hoskins.
All these build up the pillars of a powerful tale with a superb script.
