However, this fight against discrimination is not as they though it was going to be as even their male partners in factories across all England move to the other side since they see how this movement might jeopardize the male-female status as they knew till then.

MADE IN DAGENHAM
A true story set in 1967 about a small group of female machinists who go
on strike at a UK Ford factory in order to achieve the same, equal pay
as men in what has been deemed as the sexual revolution (in terms of
job rights).
However, this fight against discrimination is not as they though it was going to be as even their male partners in factories across all England move to the other side since they see how this movement might jeopardize the male-female status as they knew till then.

THE AMERICAN (2010)
THE AMERICAN |
When he meets by chance a local and beautiful prostitute, Ingrid (Irina Bjorklund), something radically changes his way of approaching to life and death.
However, this last job will come along with some hidden setbacks which won't make easy to runaway from his former life.
The American is another story about an enigmatic and attracting contract killer that falls for a beautiful prostitute.
Obviously I won't disclose the end of the film (I'm not such a party-pooper...), however I bet you all can get how the story will end. If not, you haven't watched enough TV lately. And I mean seriously!
Summing up, and with no doubts at all, the most noticeable of the movie is the landscape of such a breathtaking place.
Director: Anton Corbijn
Cast: George Clooney - Irina Bjorklund - Paolo Bonacelli
Year: 2010 USA
Genre: Action / Crime
Cinema-Reader: 6.8

HEREAFTER (2010)
HEREAFTER |
Three different people: Marie (Cécile de France) a successful French journalist that survived the tsunami Indonesia, George (Matt Damon) a blue collar worker able to connect with the afterlife and Markus (George McLaren) a 12 year-old schoolboy that lost his twin brother in a hit-and-run. However they all share a drama without even know it. A touch by the death in three different ways that will end up making their worlds fall apart as they knew it so far.
Although this is not the finest Eastwood piece, and after reading endless reviews that panned the lack of speed of the film, I might say I wasn't disappointed at all. Not even a bit.
All those who were expecting Damon beating asses as in Invictus or the acid sense of humour seen in Gran Torino, are wrong just criticizing Hereafter.
Its clear that the great Eastwood sees "the time" approaching...
Its clear that the great Eastwood sees "the time" approaching...
Anyway, different topics, different ways to shot a film.
Director: Clint Eastwood
Cast: Matt Damon - Cécile de France - Bryce Dallas Howard
